The 2024 SPECIAL OLYMPICS ARIZONA Putting Contest
Eleven Special Olympics Arizona athletes will be given the opportunity to participate in the Special Olympics Putting Contest on Tuesday February 6, 2024 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open with community Business Leaders and Celebrities.
The Special Olympics Putting Contest starts at 11:00 on the main practice Putting Green. At the conclusion of the event, all of the participants, including SOAZ family members, will be invited to a private luncheon hosted by the Thunderbirds.
Special Olympics Arizona will select eleven participating athletes based on the total amount of Birdies For Charity pledges made on line or received at the SOAZ office by 5:00 PM on Monday January 29, 2023. A drawing will be held based on the total pledges made for each athlete. All Athletes will have one entry for each $100 raised for Special Olympics Arizona.
When making a pledge, please be sure to give credit to a Special Olympics Arizona athlete. If the athlete you wish to sponsor is not already on the list of participating athletes, please email meghan@specialolympicsarizona.org so we can add their name.
