Dear friends and family,
Vic and I are excited to be participating in the East Valley Special Olym[pics Golf Tour this year. The East Valley Golf Tour has 31 Special Olympics golfers that have a passion for playing golf. Each athlete plays on a team, typically with a parent or good friend, year round at many challenging courses in Arizona. This year we will be playing at Sun City CC, Omni National in Tucson, Antelope Hills in Prescott, We Ko Pa in Fountain Hills, Oak Creek CC in Sedona, Augusta Ranch in Mesa, Bison in Show Low, and Whirlwind in Chandler.. All of the funds raised will go to support this special year round golf program. These funds also enable us to participate in the Special Olympics National Invitational Golf Tournament if we are lucky enough to be selected.
How can you help?
The Thunderbirds have given us a great opportunity to raise funds by matching all donations by an additional 10%. One hundred percent of the funds stay in our East Valley Special Olympics golf program and enable us to continue to play golf and improve our game. Your help comes from sponsoring me for $.01, $.02, $.03 or more per birdie, or making a one time donation.
I am hoping to raise at least $2000 which will cover all of our costs and give me an opportunity to play in the Putting Contest on Tuesday Feb 4 with celebrities at the WM Phoenix Open. All plesges and donations are elligible for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit for Arizona residents. That is a dollar for dollar return on your Arizona State Income Taxes. Depending on your Arizona Tax Liability, the maximum credit is $938 for 2024.
We appreciate your support, kindmness, and love!
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Gino
